Mass Communication
The current decade has seen a fading interest towards the coveted careers of the 90's, such as engineering and medicine. More and more youngsters are choosing glamorous and exciting careers such as fashion designing, image management, digital marketing and mass communication. Besides being exciting, these disciplines are offering better paychecks and lifestyles than others. A degree or professional qualification in mass communication opens the gateways of opportunities in electronic media such as TV channels and movies and also in print media such as magazines, newspapers, publications, and advertising. Current Scenario of Courses on Mass Communication in India

The need people who can create quality audio visual content for information, entertainment and education. A person looking for a break in this field can learn many things during his mass communication course, such as direction, production, working with camera, creating graphics, editing, sound techniques, and script writing etc.
Films and advertising
A course in mass communication arms you with the skills necessary to enter the world of film production and advertising. You can also produce the advertisements to be aired on famous TV channels. Apart from audio visual ads, you can also create simple ads for the billboards, handouts and newspapers.
Public relations
Public relations and image management is another area where a person with qualifications in mass communication can find excellent job opportunities. As, these are not just the businesses or corporate who are looking for such things, nowadays political organizations, NGOs, religious entities, schools, private universities, private hospitals and consultants are looking for professionals trained in public relations and internal and external communications.
