CBSE launches Pariksha Sangam; One-stop solution for CBSE students & administrators

CBSE Board launched a portal named ‘Pariksha Sangam’ on 3 July to connect students, school regional offices and CBSE board headquarters to integrate examination-related processes.  A single window will from now be available for board examination results, sample papers, and other details.

CBSE’s pariksha sangam portal can be accessed at ‘parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in’. The portal is divided into three parts, namely- Schools (Ganga), Regional Offices (Yamuna) and Head Office (Saraswati).

The ‘School section’ contains all tools that will improve ease in services with respect to pre exam, exam and post exam activities. Students can find exam reference material like circulars, curriculum, sample papers and question banks from here. Further, the information related to scholarships can be accessed here, registrations for exams can be done and internal marks can be uploaded. Application for re-evaluation of results and access to DigiLocker can be done at this section of the portal.

In the Yamuna section (Regional Offices), stakeholders will find information related to Integrated Payment Monitoring and Historical Information Repository of Schools. The Saraswati or the Head office section is related to Management Information System with respect to Exam Conduct, Centralized LOC (List of Candidates) Correction, Confidential Material Tracking & Monitoring (CMTM) etc. \

Meanwhile, CBSE will announce Class 10 term 2 results today, according to national media reports. The exams were held from April 26 to May 24. Students can check CBSE results on cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, results.gov.in and digilocker.gov.in.

Due to challenges posed by Covid-19 pandemic, CBSE introduced a two-term formula in the previous academic year for class 10 and 12 board exams, dividing the year into two terms, each covering 50% of the syllabus. The results of the first term CBSE have already been announced for both Class 10 and 12. After the results are announced for term 2, CBSE will compute the final result based on the average of both terms.
